2. Is there a maintenance cost? What’s included??
The QUICKSURFACE Pro perpetual license and QUICKSURFACE for SOLIDWORKS perpetual license include 1 year of Maintenance (updates & support). After the first year, Maintenance is optional at 10% per year.
Subscription plans are also available for both products.
QUICKSURFACE Lite is offered as a 1-year subscription.
3. Can I upgrade from Lite to Pro (or to for SOLIDWORKS)?
Absolutely. You can upgrade anytime. You’ll pay the price difference (often pro-rated if you’re within your initial 12-month window). Your Maintenance carries over and aligns with the new edition.
4. Can I move my license from one PC to another?
Yes. Deactivate on the old machine and activate on the new one using your code.
5. How do subscriptions work, and how can I cancel?
If you’re on a subscription, you can cancel anytime from your account portal. Access remains active until the end of the current billing cycle. We don’t offer refunds for partial periods.
6. Is there a Personal license?
Yes—QUICKSURFACE Personal is for individual, non-commercial use only (not for company purchase or commercial projects). It has a reduced feature set compared to Pro. Maintenance isn’t included, and payments are non-refundable—please use the free trial first. For commercial work, choose Lite, Pro, or for SOLIDWORKS.
7. System requirements to run QUICKSURFACE?
The minimum system requirements are:
Laptop or PC with Windows 10 (64 Bit version)
CPU: Intel i5 or higher (or its equivalent of another CPU manufacturer)
RAM: 16GB
HDD: 256 GB
Graphics card: dedicated graphics card – nVidia or AMD
Internet: Software and licenses are delivered and activated using Internet connection.
Once activated we recommend an internet connection to allow automatic newer version detection to keep you up to date (not mandatory, it is your choice).
8. Can I try QUICKSURFACE before I buy?
Yes and it is recommended. There’s a QUICKSURFACE Pro and QUICKSURFACE for SOLIDWORKS Free 30-day trial with no obligation.
