Maintenance keeps your software up to date and supported — but it is not mandatory.
Will my software stop working if I don’t renew maintenance?
No. Your QUICKSURFACE license continues to work normally. You can keep using your current version without interruption.
What does maintenance include?
Maintenance gives you access to software updates, new features, performance improvements, and technical support.
When does my maintenance start?
Maintenance starts from the day you activate your license, not from the purchase date.
Is maintenance included when I buy QUICKSURFACE?
Yes. Every new purchase of QUICKSURFACE Pro and QUICKSURFACE for SOLIDWORKS includes 1 year of maintenance.
Do I have to renew maintenance every year?
No. Maintenance renewal is completely optional. You can continue using your software without interruption and choose to renew whenever it fits your needs.
Can I renew maintenance after it has expired?
Yes. You can renew your maintenance at any time.
If your maintenance has expired, the renewal includes the missed maintenance period:
- If you renew 2 years after purchase → you pay 1 year of maintenance
- If you renew 3 years after purchase → you pay 2 years of maintenance
- If you renew 4 years or more after purchase → the total cost is capped at €1200
What happens if I don’t have maintenance?
Your software will continue to work normally. However, you will not receive updates, new features, or technical support. Over time, this may lead to compatibility issues with newer CAD systems, scanners, or operating systems.
